Steering wheel won't turn left?

Sears Craftsman- model # 917.273080. Serial # 100200A010684- Will not turn left, steering wheel gets stuck. Will turn right just fine. What part or parts are worn out? Thanks.
The steering bush under the dash that the owners manual tells you to "oil weekly" but no one ever does.
The failure to oil the $ 4 plastic bush has now wrecked the $ 80 sector/fan gear and the steering gear.
Sometimes the nut/ bolt on a drag link comes loose & fouls.
Drain the tank, remove the battery and deck then stand the mower on its bum.
All of the parts will then be right in front of you, grab the wheels & move them left right , the duff parts should be obvious.
If not take some pickies & post for the forum to evaluate.
