Hi Troops,
Was doing a nasty lawn today when my Kombi 90 string trimmer quit and wouldn't restart. I put it in the shade and got my BR 600 back pack blower going to cleanup some and it did the same thing!!! Of course the temp outside was over 90!! I just went out an both started OK. This is a first for me with the Stihl 4 stroke engines! Same fuel mix that I used yesterday for long periods of time. My Scag Tiger Cub ZTR and Honda powered push mower ran fine despite the heat! I had to quit in early afternoon as I was starting to get vapor lock!!!! My clothes were drenched with sweat!!!

last year it happened to my stihl kombi a couple times in hot weather, the dealer acted like they didnt know what I was talking about until I bought a new mower and ask again. Must have been vapor locked they thought but not sure.
