When did production add the fire ring?

An update. They said one of cylinder’s exhaust valve clearance was .011 . Specification I believe is .005. I hope this is the problem with the automatic compression release. They said it was fixed. I will see in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks, I will ask the lawn mower shop to adjust the valves first before tearing into the electrical system. This is a Kohler KT-725 command 7000 series engine. The Cub Cadet is a 2017 model.

The battery is fully charged and the engine has been running for 10 mins. Turn off engine, wait 2 min and upon re-start there is an issue. The video indicates an electronic squeal during a no start condition. Starter or solenoid?

I don't see so called bolt 'K' for setting it to 3600rpm. Where is it? Can someone circle the area that needs to adjusted? Thanks.

I have a Kohler Command 7000 KT725(2017) and need to check it's high speed at 3600 rpm. How do adjust since there is no high speed idle screw? See bottom pic. I planning to use a digital rpm meter
