Series 15 33" RER dual idlers 331415KVE: Belt Replacement 7043844YP Belt Width?

UPDATE: DO NOT use 1/2" V-belts which claim replace 7043844YP, they are too narrow and bottom in the main pulleys - they screech when you engage. I bot the OE Snapper belt ($30 ouch) and it works perfectly with better engagement than the V-belt (probably 5/8") which finally broke. (The belt...

Snapper 33" Rear Engine Riding Mower: something more maneuverable and cutting under shrubs.

Speak of the Devil, this would be an improvement of my Snapper Rear Engine Rider: 33" Snapper ZT (!) Basically a ZT version of mine. The front of my rider seat is about 2" aft of blade center (about the same on this ZT) My feet are essentially in front of the deck (about the same BUT there...

Snapper 33" Rear Engine Riding Mower: something more maneuverable and cutting under shrubs.

I have no idea why those "front cut" mowers aren't popular here. Stiga, I thought they were hard to get in the USA? Their smallest model (300 I think) has an 85cm which is 33.5" which is a good width - hopefully the entire machine is not wider. If the articulation is power, could "zigzag"...

Snapper 33" Rear Engine Riding Mower: something more maneuverable and cutting under shrubs.

My 1/3 acre lawn is complicated, banks, narrow corridors, mowing over steps, mowing under rhododendron and privet hedges and around trees. The 33" width is the most that will allow what I'm doing in various places. I would like to have Sharper Turning Radius A zero turn would...

Zero Turn Mower Rider ZTR: Cutting Under Edges of Rhodi?

In all seriousness, I do have a bank with a row of hedges along the top. I can drive my Snapper along the bank, but I look like a Sidecar Monkey! with my head in the hedges! (always good method to slight throw you weight around to see how stable you are - as long as you bounce back!) FYI...

Zero Turn Mower Rider ZTR: Cutting Under Edges of Rhodi?

Mower Tumbling? LOL Reliant Tumbling in UK I wonder. Check out Jeremy's Reliant Rolling:

Zero Turn Mower Rider ZTR: Cutting Under Edges of Rhodi?

Possibly - the Walkers were the ones that impressed me the most - and they are used by lawn maintenance all over my neighborhood. R21 looks like it would do the "under" cutting, but the min deck is 42" and the drive wheel track is almost as wide. That width is an issue as well as the width and...

Zero Turn Mower Rider ZTR: Cutting Under Edges of Rhodi?

THANK YOU SO MUCH for the suggestion - I think you hit the nail on the head and "articulated out fronts" are what will suit me better. WOW, did not know about Articulated Out Fronts (!) saw the Husqy and went to their website and couldn't find the R220T - need dimensional specs - my 32"...

Zero Turn Mower Rider ZTR: Cutting Under Edges of Rhodi?

I'm 70 and my Bucket List ZTR is possible, BUT I'm not sure if it will solve all my mowing problems: 2/3rds acre is small for a ZTR - practical? Cutting Under and Close to Trees, Rhododendron, Privet hedges. ZTR too cumbersome: Complicated, small area w/steep bank, sidewalk, steps Storage...

    What Type or Model is a B&S 131232 0130 01 84051006?

I guess I'm a little confused. I sold a Briggs Model 6 and had an old Ryan sod cutter with a big Model 22 (or 23, or 26 - just don't remember.) These are "small" numbers. But is the actual Model of this engine a 131232? And I sure don't know what Type means.

    What Type or Model is a B&S 131232 0130 01 84051006?

It's a HD Stellite Valve engine on a 2" Homelite Trash Pump. Would also like to know HP if possible. It is definitely an old style engine with the fuel tank hanging off the carb (carb is that long thin aluminum horizontal body - does not look like a "modern" carb like on a Honda.)

How To Install 220884 - Switch-Stop (For 1-1/2 High, 38 mm Spark Plug)

Thanks! Upon further careful looking at the cover pic, the tap on mine does not have the double bend at the end like the black one - It just has an up-bend. I can see where the "switch" rubbed away the paint at its pivot point. I'll see if I can find a cheap tab somewhere (some places want...

How To Install 220884 - Switch-Stop (For 1-1/2 High, 38 mm Spark Plug)

I have a Homelite 2" Trash Pump with a special HD B&S Engine ( 131232 0130 01 ). The parts list specifies this part. Somehow it clips onto a 1/4 x 1/4" approx protruding tab on the head cover/duct - there appears to be no fastener involved. To me, I can't imagine how it stays in place and...
