FX801V DS25. Does anyone know the actual capacity of this engine. I’ve heard different capacities. It has the original dipstick, not the updated version. I’ve been told 2.0, 2.1, and, 2.4. Sorry if I duplicated post.
“ Leading us to what could be the main culprit, your fuel can spout. Is your can spout an old open type or do you have a new sealed one with o-rings? Spout on the right should be tossed in the trash. One in the middle is a good one.”
What is the issue with the fuel spout ?
0736 or 0734 for FX801V ? I’ve got the 0736 on mine now and was told I had the wrong one. My grandson has theFR691V and according to Cub the FR691V uses the 0736 and mine uses the 0734. Just wondering if it made a difference.
I’m wondering if that’s where my leak is. I tightened it and wondering about if there might be a o-ring issue. I can’t see anything else that might cause it. I already knew about the part you mentioned. Does that mean I need a new o-ring ?
Cub Cadet ZTX6 with Kawasaki FX801VC66957. DS25. Noticed I have oil seepage around the area of oil drain fitting that the oil drain tube screws into. Not real bad but base of engine and under the fitting stays wet. I tightened and it may have slowed it some. Anyone else had an issue ? Thought...
That’s what threw me off. Couldn’t quite grasp level side to side and then front to back. Video made more sense. He adjusted front to back on each side. No side to side. If the blades are equal front to back side to side should be.
Already have that. Need procedure. There’s two adjustments on each side but none in the front to raise or lower. Side adjustments seem to contradict each other.
Thank you, didn’t realize that. Learn something new everyday. I have a ZTX6 Cub. No one can give me a definitive answer. I have a 54” deck. The center deck wheel is 1/2 -1/4” lower than the outside wheels set in the same hole. Is this normal. I thought all were relatively the same. Thanks
Thank you. I hope I haven’t messed up buying this mower. I went from a ZTX5 Cub with a Kohler to a FX Kawasaki engine. Like the features better on the BonCat.
Star Tech, I know the newer ones have the larger mixture screws. My older one has a Ruixing and I don’t like it at all. Which brand do you prefer, or, does it make any difference.
Looks like I’ll have to come up with something. Someone said Pacman tool might work. I’m going to replace them with the older mixture screws when I get these out.
I purchased a new OEM carburetor for my blower and noticed the carb adjustment screws are bigger. The splined tool I’ve been using is too small for the new carb. I have no idea what size splined tool I have. Anyone know what size the updated adjustment screws are, and what brand carb. Husqvarna...
ZT740, 25 hp engine. Looking for an alternative to replace junky OEM AGM battery. 1 1/2 yrs old, toast already. Heard several instances of the same thing.
Need help installing a headlight assembly. How to install/reinstall the hood? Is it better to remove the front grill first? Is there a service manual available ?
