Today we changed the pump belt on one of my Tiger Cats. It was the first time I have changed this belt. The machine has approximately 600 hours on it. It was obvious that it was getting in bad shape. I was amazed at how fast we were able to change it. Again I am impressed with my Tiger Cat Mowers.

Does anybody know where I might be able to find the statistics on a Tiger Cat? I am not sure if that is the proper name for it or not but some machine builders can tell you the average amount of time that every component on one of their machines will normally last.

We have used one now for two winters on one of our contract properties and it does an excellent job. The one we run came from a Pawn Shop and looked brand new but is several years old. It has a Tecumseh Motor on it.

The last two trimmers I bought were Echo they were the PAS 225 and a PAS 280. Both have string trimmer heads and we have an edger and a pole saw attachment. So far they appear to be great machines.
