Dixie Chopper has a double blade setup. The top blade is called an X blade and the bottom H blade is flat. The flat bottom H blade fits in the X portion of top blade seem to work pretty well and have never seen one come off yet.

On the wheel I was trying to get off that would not budge. I sprayed the Superzill on it and it penetrated all the way through the hub. It does work. Use it all the time.

We see that all the time people put them on upside down and bring them back that is the first thing we ask them. They are marked cylinder side or this side up. Hard to see but is there.

Looks like some one could make a kit Where all that was require was to replace the switch. On D/C you have to replace the complete wiring harness.

Contact Spartan and ask if they make a kit to convert to an ignition switch kit. Dixie Chopper had this problem and made a kit to conver it to key start. Have change a lot of them out.

Choke may not be coming all the way off when you start it. Some of these mowers have throttle controls where the choke is incoperated into the throttle control do this. have to work on some to get them to work properly. Don't know why the idiots that build these can't figure this problem out.
