The Stihl FS56 and FS70 no longer have a place to add grease. There are options. You can remove the trimmer head and put grease in where the drive cable attaches. If you are bold enough, you can drill and tap for an alemite fitting. Or, you can wait until the head is shot and buy a new head.

@rhkraft Not all riders are made by MTD. John Deere are made by John Deere in Tennessee. Husqvarna makes Husqvarna and Poulan. Craftsman once had riders made by both Husqvarna (AYP) and MTD. They are now all MTD made and found at Lowe's.

The particular Grasshopper uses a horizontal shaft Kohler. It's very possible that the output shaft seal is gone.

I think this model of Hustler uses pumps and wheel motors. You will need to provide the model number and serial number of the mower. You may need the serial number and model number of the pumps and wheel motors.

My suggestion is to dispose of that thing and buy you a new 2 stoke trimmer by Echo, Stihl, or Husqvarna.

I'm guessing that your Kubota is powered by a Kohler Courage Pro SV 740.
