Glowing muffler means you are running super lean (not getting enough fuel). Do NOT run your machine like this until you figure out the problem. Same advice on this one. Thoroughly clean OEM carburetor and replace. Check all intake gaskets for air leaks. Go from there.

If the muffler is glowing, there is your red alert, literally. Go through carburetor and clean thoroughly. Make sure you have good gaskets and no air leaks. That is a good start and then see how it runs.

sounds like you have a really lean condition, you need more fuel to go inside the engine,carb has to be able to be adjusted for that, if there is no mixture screw,you may have a defective carb
