The plastic liner is likely nylon-12. Acetone is moderately agressive, and not recommended for prolonged contact. There is a gap at least 3/8" undet the insert, and I only put in about 1/8" acetone. I should be OK. The fuel bowl cup is clean.

You dont tell us what your using it in, but if its older, its perhaps more important to find oil intended for service class J. The newer stuff does not meet that. The B&S oil does.

My newly acquired 318 had a busted taillight. Deere wants $22 for a replacement, used on ebay are even more. I found these on ebay, they fit perfect, and what I saved is going into LED bulbs fore and aft.

Are the holes circled in the attached photo actually used? Ain't nothing to screw them to, no other unused holes for a connecting part, parts diagram shows screw and push nuts in the rear holes, but not these.
