This morning before ordering a rebuild kit I thought I should just take a chance and pull the float bowl cover and see whats going on. Good thing I did. Turns out it had what looked to be a tiny piece of spaghetti stuck in the seat. I think it was a piece of grass. The original owner must have been sloppy putting fuel in the tank and got some crap in the fuel tank probably wrecking the pump. It looks to have been replaced possibly. He also installed an inline fuel filter between the fuel tank and the pump but deleted the one near the valve cover. So after cleaning out the carb and blowing out the fuel line I scrapped his inline tube and replaced it with a second fuel filter, now she runs smooth as butter. I hope it continues to run this smooth. Thanks for your input guys.
