I’m using fuel without ethanol and I’m treating it with stabilizer even though it’s not sitting around for months. I was wondering if using Sea Foam occasionally was also beneficial for small engines?

I do use only non ethanol gas but didn’t realize that will totally prevent carburetor issues? Our Walmart Murphy gas station does have gas without ethanol, fortunately!

It seems that most start problems I have with my Toro mower have to do with the carburetor gumming up. Is there a good gas treatment that I could continually use that will help to ensure the carburetor stays clean? Thanks

I have an XT2, I’m a novice and I was able to level the deck with no difficult, it just takes some patience and a nice flat concrete surface to measure from.

I did build a little ramp where I can drive my tractor onto four concrete blocks, remove the wood and then be able to reach under the deck to scrap it clean.

I have the same issue and I resolved it, completely by drilling 4 holes in the plug and installing Zip ties around the lower lip on the dec and it’s now completely tight and sealed ❗️

I bought a mulching plug for my CC XT1 about 2 years ago and fit is good, however it’s not secure enough on the bottom and grass clippings always accumulate and work their way through it. I wondering if the newer ones are any better?

You are probably right and I need to do something to get a better seal with the mulching plug since grass is always getting stuck in it and squeezing through.

I’m guessing the best way to keep the deck clean is to buy a front end lift and scrape it manually after each 2nd or 3rd use? is this best and what would be the least expensive front end lift? I’m guessing those plastic tip ramps are useless? Thanks
