California considers a statewide ban on gas powered lawn equipment.

Well, crud. I pulled it directly from the ABC News website. Just went back and double checked it to make sure nothing is messed up. I've tried it half a dozen times and not seeing an issue...

    Snapper Pro 48" Deck Spring

I have a Snapper Pro CZT19480KWV in the shop, and it's missing the tensioner spring for the deck belt. Apparently it fell off and got lost on the owner's lawn. The spring is discontinued, and I haven't found one available anywhere online. Does anyone have one or know somebody who might?

Snapper Pro S125XT vs Redmax CZT52 for your experiences which you recommend

I would get the Snapper Pro with a Kawasaki engine. There are several engine options on that model.

Honda mower with new OEM carbureator surging

I went out to the garage, grabbed a few Hondas and got pictures of the linkage, both at the carburetor and at the governor arm. Click the photos to enlarge. Make sure that the long, straight portions of the anti-surge spring are not wrapped around the linkage. The linkage is supposed to go...

    What does this fit

According to this chart, it fits 1990s-early 2000s Murrays. As a result, I moved this thread to the Murray forum.

    Echo PE200 Edger Carb. Problem

If you are installing the screw with the trigger in this position, that's incorrect. The upper portion of the trigger will hit the screw before the engine even leaves idle. The upper portion of the trigger should be on the other side of the screw.

WANTED: Boxes of old 2 cycle carburetors

If you own a shop and replace all your 2-cycle carburetors rather than rebuilding, let me know. I rebuild 90% of the ones I work on, and like to keep a bunch of extras around for parts. I'm in central FL but will pay shipping. Just bought two boxes off Ebay. Thanks!

    Question - Kawasaki FH541V

Just finished working on an FH541V, and I have a question about the voltage regulator. The mower was not charging its battery (turned out to be a blown fuse), and I suspected the regulator and did a couple tests. Here's what I found: - With the regulator not attached to the blower housing (held...

Kohler CV13T - Charging System Output?

Toro's wiring diagram seems to indicate the system is 12v: I also looked up the Ogura part number, and it's 12 volts. The regulator is new, and it is the correct part number for this model.

Kohler CV13T - Charging System Output?

This engine is on a Toro Proline 30159. It's the model with the electric clutch that runs directly off the charging system, no battery. Does anyone know what the input voltage and output voltage for the regulator/rectifier should be? At full throttle, I'm getting about 48V AC in and 24-28V DC...
