Scag Tiger Cub - Replacing Wheel Motors & Pumps

Would someone please clarify the hyd pumps are different and the wheel motors are the same, thus the "CCW" on the label, even though other numbers are different?

Scag Tiger Cub - Replacing Wheel Motors & Pumps

Dang it! I just noticed all my spaces got removed between L & R along with the pn's so it's kind of hard to read above.. Here they are in a single column... HYDRAULIC PUMPS Left PG-1KCC-DY1X Right PG-1GCC-DY1X WHEEL MOTORS Left 7079L1B1F HGM-15E-3138 151H3138 200 CCW Right...

Scag Tiger Cub - Replacing Wheel Motors & Pumps

I've replaced the PTO clutch a few years ago and other miscellaneous stuff as needed and put a bouncy seat on it, so I'd rather hang on to it... I'd rather keep this simple old carbureted mower versus a new EFI mower. I figured if I spent $2k replacing all the hydraulics, the only other major...

Scag Tiger Cub - Replacing Wheel Motors & Pumps

Hi all, Ten years ago I inherited a Scag Tiger Cub that had previously been rode hard. Over the last 3-5 years I've been having some drive control problems. The right wheel seems to pulsate and sometimes wont move, then just takes off rapidly. With both arms all the way forward the mower will...

Toro Recycler Guaranteed to Start - Not

I had to do this too on a similar mower. I finally removed the the 'convenience' loop that holds the pull handle up near the other controls so the handle retracts all the way to the motor. Pulling from the motor allows you to spin the motor more and mine will start usually on the first pull...

Help with mower issue please and tia

On my Kawasaki engine I had the lower finger 'disappear' on my pushrod guide plate causing a random clank because the pushrod/rocker arm was lower and hitting the valve cover. I'm not sure if Briggs is setup the same way, but I wanted to throw it out there...

One jet fell out of the pickup tube

I still have it in there, but if I have any issues I'll jerk it out. Good info on the fuel filters. I need to add one pronto. I know how to look at my old threads now and will do so, if needed 🤞 Thanks again!

One jet fell out of the pickup tube

I think that must have been it... 🤗 Before I removed the swirl plate, I fired it up one last time this morning and to my surprise, it seemed to run much better! I put the cover with air cleaner on it, mowed for over an hour, ran great, and no coughs! 🤗 Thank you all for your help!

    Bad boy revolt not charging

I know you verified the ground connection, but I'd make sure the negative end of the bat cable is nice and "tight" where it connects to the engine. I had funky voltage readings before and it was due to that loose ground conn.

    Won't turn over.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a loose negative battery cable at the engine.
