Yes I see how to do that with some YouTube help, last blocker is the arm on the idler pulley assembler which makes looping the belt around it impossible. Tension springs are removed I don’t see how to get this on any thoughts?

I have removed the PTO, is the pulley wheel supposed to come down off the shaft as well and that’s how you reset the belt? Maybe I just need to spray penetrating in there and pull it down? it’s accessible now but the guards are pretty close in there is no space to jam the belt back in line

well, figured it out, drive belt came off the front pulley, problem is it is in the most inaccessible place under the engine and even up on 12 inch jack cant get in there. no idea why they would make it this way

Hi all, Last mow I noticed the drive pedal when engaged in reverse was very slow, however fwd operated normally regardless of when the blade deck was on. Today, the mower started fine and after about 10 minutes of normal use both fwd and in reverse the drive pedal stopped working completely...

this was exactly the issue. watched two youtube vids on the matter, removed my hood, used simple torx tool to loosen the fastener, pulled the line connecting the choke to the manual lever on the "dash", and boom, could easily see the choke actually engaging once tightened. thing starts...

quick shot of starter fluid in the carb and it works great, every time.

would starter fluid help me get this thing running in the meantime? the few times in the last month i have been able to start the mower, it has stayed on for 1-2 hours of use...

Warranty route was a dead end as well. Of the list of 5 approved shops "in my area", 2 dont actually work with craftsman, 2 said i was not in their service area, and 1 guy was booked through the whole summer. i tell ya, this has been a frustrating run around likely going on 10 hours of phone time

"take it back" - oh, you will love this story. they delivered the mower without a key, and didnt tell me I can get a generic key from any store for a couple weeks, so i didnt even discover this issue until around 50 days after purchase, which is of course 20 days too late to return-exchange...
