Just an update, I have got to the bottom of the problem.... The grass box sensor had failed, bipassed the sensor and the mower works a treat. Thank you for the advice given anyway.

Thanks, I'll slip the belt off and try that, the revs drop then it dies. The mower belt moves by hand so figured it wasn't too tight. I've tried uploading pics but it says files are too big. ?

Hi, I have a jonsered 7180 mower, it's second hand with no manual, it's been a brilliant tool until now, when I engage the mower the engine stalls. Looking for advice, maybe just due a service
