What do you think of the idea of a water butt or even a couple depending how many drainpipes your home has? We have one butt and it's really handy to use the rainwater collected for watering large areas like the lawn in times of drought.

Do you like having wildlife in your garden? I surely do. I don't mind if foxes do their business in the middle of my grass but I know some folk who have called in the authorities to poison squirrels just because they were digging holes in their lawn.:frown:

I did a very silly thing yesterday. I tried to unlock my front door with a it's Yale key and somehow caught the skin of my index finger between the key and the metal keyhole. There was blood everywhere although the cut is quite small but boy, did it sting!

I've just made an apple sponge from the apples off the tree in our garden and it's sitting in the kitchen cooling. I love having a garden where I can sit out on a sunny day and grow stuff to eat, don't you?:licking:

Would you buy a lawn mower from Ebay? I deliberated for a long time wondering whether it was a bad idea but the price was very good so I went ahead and bought it.
