Liberty Z Drive Belt Issue - Crazy!

Make sure the drive and driven pulleys are aligned. This is a constant tension system, but if you have sticks and pinecones in the yard, they can pop up and derail the belt.

    Honda Rotostop Assembly

See attached. I hope this resolves your issue. And yes, remove the fan cover to access the flywheel. Easiest if you have a good Strap Wrench to secure the flywheel with. May need to remove the ignition coil to give clearance for the strap.

Think I'm going to buy a Turf Tiger... few questions?

Sounds like you're on the right track. As for the decision between carb or EFI....if your dealer is able to give the same confindence in servicing and EFI engine as a Carb'd engine, then EFI. If not, you may be better off with a carb model.

Think I'm going to buy a Turf Tiger... few questions?

Turf Tiger II is a new revised version of the Turf Tiger. If you find a 'new' Turf Tiger, it was manufactured at least 4 years ago. The clamshell would be perfect for what you have planned and you will be able to just back up and dump. All baggers needs air flow to work, so you will still get a...

PE225 flex drive shaft lube, easy job?

Very easy. Remove the gearcase at the bottom of the shaft and the flexible drive shaft will slide out. The windings should be uniform. If not, it is near it's breaking point and needs to be replaced. Grease shaft and slide back in. Note the square ends on shaft. May have fumble with it a little...

Convert Honda GX340 to electric start?

Does the coil on your generator look exactly like the coil from your scrap engine? There are several different coils for different GX340 revisions and they are not interchangable.

    GX390T2 QAPW

Were you able to confirm that you installed the correct carburetor? It is running to lean. You either have the incorrect carburetor and/or an air leak. What does you spark plug look like.

Honda HRN 216 VYA Blades Stalling...

Sounds like there may be an issue with the Roto-Stop Control Assembly. Sorry that you are having an issue with your brand new mower, but that is what warranty is for. Schedule to drop it off with you local dealer. That is a relatively new model, so your dealer may need to order parts to repair...

    GX390T2 QAPW

Assuming you purchased the correct carburetor, Honda P/N - 16100-Z5T-901. If you do have the correct carburetor and lets assume fresh fuel, I would look at two things to start with. 1. Insulator between carb and cylinder. Look for hairline crack from right-hand stud hole to center of insulator...

    Honda carb issues

Providing you don't have an air leak, don't overlook the valves. If your valves are not opening as designed due to excessive valve lash, your engine will also run lean. Heat the parameter of the valve cover (I remove the fan cover and air filter box so I don't melt them) and you should be able...

Turf tiger 26.5 Hp Or turf tiger 2 35 Hp Briggs??

If bagging or mulching, go for the additional power and dependability of the B&S Vanguard. Both are very dependable models and parts are readily available for both.

    Replace GCV160 with GSV190

Hi Luke, my apologies, but I'm not a backyard mechanic and will not modify equipment when safety is a concern. As for the engine, I strongly encourage using the exact replacement or just repair your existing engine. The crankshaft is relatively inexpensive. That and a new oil seal are probably...

Brand New HRX217VYA - 1hr Of Use With Factory Oil ONLY?

Good thing you visited your father. The dipstick on a Honda is just that...a DIPSTICK. You do not thread the dipstick in to check the oil. Remove it, wipe it, Dip it. With the dipstick threaded in, it most likely did show that there was oil in the engine, but that is just residual oil remaining...
