Pi9cked this old horse up a few days ago. Kohler 8hp horizontal shaft engine has compression, tires hold air and it's not missing any parts, except of course the cutting deck. My plan is to first of all see if I can get it running later today. If all goes well, then I might repaint it later on...

Runs fine

This trimmer has been a real PITA. It starts on choke but once the trigger is pulled it bogs down and dies. I've already gone through and cleaned the carb and the primer bulb is new so is there something I missed?

Solo backpack blower/sprayer.....agricultural use. Would start but not stay running. Cleaned carb and its good to go.

I'm doing a repair on this mower, brand new and already busting belts and the clutch cable is also broken. I'm trying to find out the exact part number for the clutch cable and what the correct length is supposed to be.

It seems someone else worked on this trimmer before me and in the process they damaged the flywheel. Error on my part was assuming it was alright....anyhow the key slot on this flywheel was non-existent so whoever tried to fix it used a half moon key and forced the flywheel on. Which worked for...
