After I built my own string of diodes , the circuit worked perfectly, after inspecting the new factory string I noticed that the first diode inline from the ground terminal was in backwards.

Thanks, I am about to double check the diodes although 2 sets seem to do the same thing, when I ground the coils out it will shut down, I am about make my own setup.

Hi All, Vtwin will not shut down, if I ground out each coil it will shut down, replaced diode string, soldered connections to coils as they seemed a bit loose, still no Joy, diodes test OK with Fluke meter diode setting. Any thoughts? Thanks Geo🇺🇸

I just wanted to know the amperage of the the system, allegedly from colors , Engine 3054470610 G1, as stated ,colors don’t mean anything anymore.

Nope! Brand new motor out of the box, that’s why I say the color coding is not correct, I tried to post a pic but the file is to large.

It’s flat black, and the terminals are flat, nothing seems to match up, you’re supposed to be able to tell stator by wire color and connector color. NOT!

You are correct about the refit, those numbers do not appear to be B&S numbers , is there a cross reference?
