I bought this mower at auction. The previous owner painted it and there are not any identifying markings on it, when I asked them what brand it was they said that they didn't know. The hood on it is homemade, it has a Kubota diesel v1505e, it has a 23" blade on each of the side decks that spin opposite, and a 30" blade in the rear. All the blades have 1/2" center holes. I'm having a really hard time finding blades for it. Please help!

thumper,
You came to the right place to get help identifying your mower, unfotunately I am not the "exerienced" forum user that can help you. I'm certain, though, that there are some users here that will be able to help!!! BTW, I'll have to say....that's one fine looking piece of mowing equipment!!!!!!

Pretty interesting, since the blades are all hydro driven.

Could it be a type mower used on a golf course?

Can you take a blade off and post a pic off the center hole. I have a few counterclockwise blades I could tell you what type blades to get.

I'll try to get pics of the blades this evening. I put a grinder to the blades and ran the mower this weekend, it cut really well, and the rollers leave awesome lines in the grass.

thumper,
As I said before, that is one fine-looking "professional" grass cutting machine!!! Would you mind sharing how much you "stole" that thing for at the auction(to make us even more jealous than we already are:0)???

I think Carscw is right about it being a Toro... Scrape a bit of the new paint off, Is it Toro red under the orange?
The way the gauges are mounted And the Kubota engine plus hydraulic drive suggest to me it is a early/mid 70's Toro.... :smile:KennyV
