Snapper SR 95

Just bought a snapper from friend,it was took care of well.Should i use or restore it?I don,t know what year it is.It,s SR 95 model-280810be....s/n 25 298608....it runs well and cuts like a jiffy,8HP,synchro balanced briggs,28" cut.Can i get a original looking seat for this model?I haven,t the slightest idea what year it is.I,m definitely keeping it and passing on to kids for sure.Anyone schooled on this can elaborate please,thanks

It looks like it is in great condition! I would use it if I were you, but some people restore it and THEN use it. It's even better when you can work really hard on a project and then you can use the mower, not just stare at it! :smile:
