Lawn Boy Owner Check-In --- Read This First!

Hello to all,
I recently acquired a 1984 Lawnboy model 7271 push mower. I do not have a photo of it yet. When it runs, it runs beautifully ! I do not have an owner's manual and have to guess at how many times I must push the primer button. I fear that I 'overprime' it. If I let it sit overnight, it sometimes starts up without priming ! This is my first two stroke lawn boy. I am using a 1/32 oil to gas mixture and added 2 ml of Marvel mystery oil to the gas.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thank you all, NCdad

Hi my name is Craig... I've had a 1978 model 5026 for a couple of years now and finally fixed it up to where it is working great. I believe it is the first year for the "F" engines and it is running awesome! I have just now come to appreciate how great lawn-boys are and it's my favorite mower I've ever had. Happy to be a part of this site!

Hi, I'm Steve and I own 2 Lawn Boys, a 1997 model 10523 self-propelled and a 2006 model 10685 which was just given to me. I'm interested in selling the 2-stroke of which i'll post pics and give more details later. great to be here.

I have a used Lawnboy that I purchased for $75.00, 3 years ago. It's a 2001 commercial model 22261 that is self propelled and has the extra large gas tank. I don't have the bag attachment but plan to get one. This is an outstanding mower and I wish I had gotten one sooner. I'm new to this forum and welcome any information or advice.
