I been in the business for 3 years and I have a commercial snapper 48" and an encore 48" walkbehind. I'm looking to buy another zero turn but wanted to know you guys opinion on what's the best brand and size to buy.
What's the best brand & size zero turn to buy

It depends on the size of the lots you will be cutting. I like my 60 inch eXMark But depends also how much you want to spend.

I see, well I sell Kubotas, Husqvarna, Dixie Chopper, Scag, and Gravely but my heart is with the Kubotas in a commercial application. I just like how smooth they are but I don't do a lot of cutting so my opinion on cuts isn't valid compared to most landscaping guys on the forum.

Ok. I been looking at Bad Boy, Scag and Kabota. I seen where Kabota came out with a new model this year. But I hear the parts are expensive and can only be purchased through Kabota.

Which one? the ZG332 is a new gasoline model, but the ZD's are pretty much the same. Kubota did come out with a 100 series withthe Kommander, but it isn't for commercial applications.

Well, it has a belt driven deck instead of the a drive shaft like most commercial mowers... The idea behind it was to give customers a Z turn at a residential mower price. Depending on the model, right now they range from 4500-6200 which is nice for someone who only mows a few acres every week or two. It's hard for a customer who only mows their own yard to justify spending 7-15k on a mower sometimes.

As far as brand goes it's what ever you feel comfortable with. I think size wise the 48" Snapper is is probably the best size to have for residential work. The switch I would make would be the WB size, I'd come down to a 36" cut for getting through gates. You may want to consider Stander like the Toro or the Exmark Vantage with the flip up platform, it would give you the best of both worlds a ZTR and A WB in one unit.
