Here is a couple images of a gold buggy. Love the metalflake and chrome steering wheel and body. Nice touches with the chrome light and engine housings also.

Did you ever find out anything more about who made them? I found this on Smokstak while poking around. Evidently JC Pennys marketed them, and according to member Dick DeBuse, who has always got good information, they were made by General Appliance and called Bonanzas.
