Well I guess Stihl finally got with the program and is going to give Echo some competition for the Bed redefiner.

The New FBD-KM. Although it's only available in there Kombi Systems.
It is recommended for use with the KM 130 R, but can be used with the KM 90 R and KM 110 R.
Cost is some where around $250 for just the attachment so I don't really see it being any cheaper than the Echo BRD 280

That is neat! The blade is a different design compared to the one on the Echo.

I did a little research and depend on which unit you put with it, it's more expensive than the Echo. With the 90R it's $559, w/110R it's $589, W/130R it's $619. I paid $559 for the Echo. I'll wait for the regular unit and see what it cost and go from there.

Yeah the KM 90R is a 28cc motor and it runs $309 and with the FBD at $250 you get $559. The Echo has a 28cc motor and it's the same price.

You can put the head on any Stihl shaft you have now i.e. line trimmer, stick edger, and etc... Works great on my FS 90 line trimmer. I just took off the line trimmer assembly and put on the Bed Redefiner head works great...
