Homelite st 275 engine parts

Does anyone have a source for engine parts for the homelite 25cc engine? It will not start due to low compression and I suspect it needs a new piston ring. I have disassembled it, cleaned the exhaust ports and muffler, inspected the piston and engine block for cracks and they appear sound.

Suggestions always appreciated.

The ring part number is a PS01359 which supercedes to a 678001002. As long as everything else is in good shape it may be worth a shot if you want to put money into it. The Homelite distributor has like 700 in stock, so it is available.
