Mine is to convince my customers that in the spring time their grass needs cut more often than every 7 days! That is how often they want it but it gets SOOO high and is very hard to cut. And my mowers don't like it!
For example, this is a lawn I cut on April 8, 2012 for the first time that year. This is how long the grass was! I don't think it was cut for awhile at the end of the year before that, because it was SOOOO tall! Don't worry, I went over the yard again to get rid of the grass clumps; it is impossible for the grass NOT to clump when you are cutting off like a foot!

Yeah in the spring and summer I almost always cut at 3 inches. That is the highest cutting height on my Honda HRR. Luckily my Honda HRX goes up to 4 inches just in case I have to do a yard like that!

Last time I took mine it was a 6 hour class then a 2 hour test.
The test is hard and a lot of what they teach you will never use.
Bring a note book so you can take notes.
Here in GA we have to have it just to carry round-up on our truck.
