Walk behind Troy-Bilt self propeld

The mower has hard time going up slight grade and is hard to keep going sraight and lurches to the left.Also engin surges when running.

Problem with the self propel is probably a combination of a worn belt, worn drive gears an/or drive wheels. Check all three. Surging is caused by, old gas, water in the gas, dirt in the gas, plug jets, etc. Best solution is to clean the carb, inside and out install new float needle and seat and see if that solves the problem.
