42 inch pony spindle

I am trying to locate a replacement spindle for a 2014 pony. All I can locate are standard parts, however, the spindle housing the extends below the deck is about an inch shorter than the original. Are there more options. Have tried everywhere I can think of.

TRIED IT, IS THE SAID 1 INCH TO SHORT BELOW THE DECK.

Thanks, but already tried it. Still the dreaded 1 inch to short below the deck.

The other spindle that they used on that model after May 27 was the 918-06991, which from the pictures looks longer that the 918-04822B

Well they use the same spindle shafts but the

918-04822A has a 6.3" pulley
and
918-06991 has a 5.4" pulley

And with the pulley spacer being the same then the housing would be the same.

Just saying it appears they will be the same length with different pulleys.


Of course someone could be sending the short snout spindles instead the long snout spindles. Compare them to the old spindles.
