Mower Won’t Start

If it does it again check the terminals in the solenoid connector. They tend to spread apart losing contact with the solenoid pins.
Thanks for the info. The wires seem to spin inside that connector so I am a little suspect about its condition. Motor is almost thirty years old.
 
The connector pins are bad about spreading on those. Keep that in mind if it happens again. The ins inside the connector can be tightened with a straight pick tool so they fit the pins of the solenoid better.
