I would spray my used oil and Diesel on that thirsty plywood shop. A 100 plus year old farmers trick to preserve wood. Diesel does NOT light with an open flame. Bugs don't like it same with termites. Great way to recycle your used oil. You can take a cigarette lighter straight to it and it won't ignite. It sinks into the wood. Oh the recipe is 50/50 so don't forget.
Back to the Gravely. Where is the beer holder? Cell phone charger? Must be the base model LOL. Nice mower.

Kawasaki FR691V? If so, pay extra attention to the air filter. They are known to load up fairly quickly.
There is an aftermarket filter available.
That’s the one, have looked at the aftermarket ones, but wouldn’t that void the warranty? Anyway the one I looked at is out of stock, will let me know when they are back, really don’t like the stock ones anyway, so started looking right after I got the mower,
But they seem to say it voids the warranty on the whole mower? Not just the motor?
I don't know if it will void the warranty or not. If you stay with the OEM filter, keep it clean. You can wash the foam pre-filter. You can also remove the paper element and blow it out with a leaf blower. Blow from the inside out. Also, vacuum out the air cleaner box. A thin film of grease on the inside of filter mounting lip also helps.

Some manufacturers say “it voids the warranty” way too quickly so they can get out of potential payouts. It has always bothered me when I hear, “it voids the warranty.” I have never owned anything expensive enough and new enough to even have a warranty (thousands of dollars).
