X304 Chinese coils?

Hi all. I ordered some coils off the Bay, and got what's shown in the pic, sitting on the battery stand. I figured I'd give them a try, as they sat in the box until it was too late to return them, and I realized they were a little different. They fit with a little filing, but where the coil wires route between it and the intake manifold, it's tight. I'm applying high heat wrap around the wires, and sealing the filing area with a high heat insulator used for electrical components. This is a quick fix until I can scrape together enough for the OEM coils. (The old ones are very rusted and in bad shape).
Does anyone have any experience with this type of cheap coil sold on Eeee-bay? Any suggestions on this fix (besides junk them, of course lol.) TIA.

Cheap ignition coils are not recommended for long term reliability. I usually order OEM ignition coils for customers. If you already have them, give them a shot and see how they do.

Rust has zero to do with magnetism.

Now the grounding slash mounting pad areas need to be clean to get a good ground for the coil to work.

Make sure the coils are installed proper side up. Some can be installed flipped over and not work for you.
