3013 starts but dies in forward and reverse

I recently got a Honda Hydrostatic 3013 mower. It starts great. Idles well. But when I go to move it into forward or reverse it beeps and then dies after a couple of seconds in gear. Any ideas of what could be going on? I think all the safety switches are working otherwise it wouldn’t start right?

Recheck all safety switches.
