Does your wife know you have this sickness.... or does she enjoy the solitudeGot 1st mow done yesterday. And promptly after changed oil & filter.
I do my blades one at a time. That could make me look busy for a couple hours! The wife would never know.Soaking mower blades in water to soften the grass build up - I swear. Just plain water? Dry grinding the grass build up off mower blades before I sharpen ranks right up there with a sharp stick in the eye with me. Pray tell.
I used to be able to buy *Raindance" wax. Was discontinued,, I bought all the store had about 20 yrs ago.First post of ANYONE using my wax the deck trick on here. One guy said really you use wax on the deck??? LOL. I put used oil on the under side too.
Here's another Turtle wax trick. On your exterior compressing/condensing unit sheet metal. Slow down the rusting on it. Keeps her looking fresh.

That wax I'd put on end of season. Wipe off beginning of next season
I loved that. I'm on my last can.
I used old oil under deck too, end of season after cleaned up.
Good to know I'm not only one ..
