I am still around just not as much as the new provider is dragging their feet. At Spectrum finally got the service to a more decent speed. Still hangs quite a bit. It took 30 min last to upload what use to take less than 4 minutes.


The new provider has to install a new drop line. I give them another week and if still dragging I just have to eat the extra $30 per month. If it weren't for the business I would have already gone cold turkey. None of the providers seems to care if I have service or not.

Consumer Cellular provides a service package but you can't even get anyone on the phone to verify that they meet my needs. Version is even higher @ $135 /month. My SS check only goes so far especially with everything else increasing so something has to give.
 
I wouldn't worry. E Musk and a panel said today that within 10 years AI will own everything and provide anything we need. Already I get ads daily of things privately talked about in the house and supposedly all the mics in things are off. Maybe they look down from space with a mind reader. :( Maybe by then you won't even need an ISP, whomever they are will just read your mind......

Yeah, very likely. It’s progressing rapidly. Just a few years ago we had no idea of email.
