ZT3500 wont start

Replaced fuel filter...
Checking wiring. Could not find where fuses are (was told by shop that could be a problem--- located under seat they said)
Gas is getting to carb...No fire even with starting fluid straight to carb.... So electrical I imagine.
Was running just 4 days ago...

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked for spark? You need to confirm that both plugs are sparking.

Yup and next thing to check would be the coils and the battery. How old is the unit? Battery could be bad under load. Put a multimeter on it when you crank it and see if it falls under 11V. If it does it is probably bad or on its way out. Check the charging system while you are at it if you need to replace the battery.

It was either vapor locked or the fuel filter.... Runs like a champ now...
Pretty freekin' embarrasing.... I was on the phone with service dept going over options and he goes "so, its turning over but not starting?" "Yeah...wanna hear it???"
Turn the key and on the second revolution, she fires up like a new one.

Shes the Don Rickles of mowers....

Was that the first time you started it since replacing the fuel filter? Glad its working but still wondering what the problem was.

I think I turned it over for a few seconds right when I replaced it... but it was boiling hot (above 98 at house) so my patience was cooked.
I probably didnt give it enough time to prime to the carb (mainly because the battery was starting to drag a bit)
And it roared to life the next morning and has been rolling ever since.
