I am looking for help in finding parts info on a KG1600A Kawasaki generator with a Mikuni. I can't find a # on the carb. I used to swap out Amals on my Bultacos for a diaphragm mikuni.

You can do the same on the generator because it is governed .
However in Amal parlance . the replacement carb has to have an equivalent needle jet so it accelerates quickly under load or you end up burning out whatever is connected

Check for an engine model number. Order parts based on the model number. Also, you can remove the Mikuni carburetor and there should be a number on it somewhere.

Boy that is an old generator early 1970's.

replacement carb.

Also was used on the Powermate WX1200.

OEM part number was 3154016100E which subbed to 16001-2006 which subbed to 16001-2018

Will have to those older numbers to my database. Only had 16001-2018 in the system.
