Knocking Sound - am I in the market for a new mower?

!0 year old Lawn Machine. Got it running for first time this season. Ran over something and it locked up. Won't start again and makes a slow knocking sound when I try to start. See video for sound https://photos.app.goo.gl/sUBB1s1J8z7s3zU69

You may have broken the blade adapter and taken out the flywheel key. Take the blade off and try rocking the shaft with a pair of vise grips, if it still clunks get the credit card out.

Upon further inspection the craked engine block says warm up the credit card!
