Reason for abscence

I thought I should come clean for the why I haven't been around as of late..

Son-in-law and one grand daughter came down to visit for a few days.. This place is just about big enough for the two of us and adding to more people, especially when one of them is 13 years old, sort of taxes the accommodations..

So we spent nearly every waking moment outside. Fortunately the weather has been brilliant! 80's every day, how can you beat that? So we took boat trips, cruises into the wilds of Florida that tourists never get to see.. I was able to slip up on a sleeping eight-foot gator and got so close that when it woke up and went into escape mode, it's thrashing tail threw mud and aquatic plants all over us and the boat! The kids thought that was great fun! Then we pulled into a riverside restaurant and ordered up Gator Bites and ate his cousin!

A good time was had by all, but thankfully they've gone home and life can return to normal...

In our days on the River (St. Johns) we had a favorite trip thru the river primeval.
It was a channel called Blue Creek. It was about 2 miles long, and came off the St. Johns at the
north end of Astor, and returned to the River at the south end of Lake George.
We used to count gators and sunnin' turtles.
I forget the actual numbers of record views, but I think it was something like 87 gators and 400+ turtles.........

Yep, the newer S10 versus the older ones with the slightly bigger hub center. Ran into that with a set of ZQ8 wheels I put on my old 91. Couple minutes with the die grinder and they look real good.

Dizzy-stritbooter............

Thats the thing that had 1 wire in, 4,6,or 8 out, and would direct fire to the (hopefully) correct spark plug in turn........

It was kinda the old ECU in days before coil over plugs....................

Tom,

The old 'saw': "A place for all things and all things in their place" - - comes to mind...

Jus sayin'...

You mean "in the shop" doesn't count? Funny thing is I do have a sorta system. I have a work bench with a bunch of drawers and I put 'like' stuff together and the impact drivers normally are right below the drill bill and related stuff drawer but I think the "shop weasels" moved em on me.

Ron,

"Back in the day", I used to run the St Johns with a commercial fisherman. He ran a line of 'hoop' traps for catfish. We fished out of Lake Crescent, in Dunn's Creek and the St John's itself. He took me all around Lake George in an air boat once. I was deaf for a week!
