Is it worth it to buy Scag Liberty Z 48" or 52" price difference is negligible when buying the 52" that comes with a bigger Kawasaki engine.
Welcome to the site. It depends what you're going to be mowing with it. Personally I like 52 inch compact ZTRs. They're pretty productive and fit most places on residential lawns.
What size lawn(s) are you cutting and what's the character? Lots of obstacles? Open mowing?

I would get the 52 unless I had a 49 inch gate. The 48 is 49 inches wide with chute up.
