Seems like, when I lived in Astor, we were almost always prayin' for rain.
The canal behind our house went dry, then flooded, then went dry, and finally stayed
so dry that all kinds of weeds grew up out of the canal bed.
I used to watch the storms on the radar approach from the west, thin out in the middle to miss us,
then rejoin past us and go on their merry way. Used to drive me crazy.

So, since we've live din Sout Mississippi, there has been no shortage of rain,
and I NEVER say "enough!"

Actually Darryl, the timing of bertsmobile1's post, and my post got crossed in timing, making it appear, as if I was commenting on Bertsmobile1 comment, when actually I was adding my comment, to the earlier pic of Trump posted by Doc (willys55).

Agreed,..... we don't need to spar politics here, it is really great this is one place where we put aside our political opinions, ( for the most part ) to come together, and try to benefit those seeking help in an issue we feel that we may be able to help alleviate .

Same here, we're in "The Forest", Silver Springs & Silver Springs Shores get flooded and we get zip, all around us, but not in Ocklawaha / Moss-Bluff area.

Here's the photos of the day for Boobala. Cleanup of a bizzillion white pine limbs. I took them for the benefit of my friend who retired and turned his mom's lawn over to me. He already knows what a mess the place was so I didn't take any "before" photos. I'll do a finer cleanup when I do the first mow. He's on the road on his way out west for 7 weeks. 4 hours and 2 dump trailer loads.

Gettin your exercise, that's good... !

I told my wife I'm going to have to double my prices because I can only work 4 hours before I'm exhausted now, lol. I had to use one of them old fashioned hand tools called a rake. Ugh.
