Honda HR215 SX Lawnmower Engine GXV140 on HR215K1SXA

Can anyone say if a HR215 engine will work on a HR215K1SXA? Will there be problems down the road? Are the transmissions similar whereby the K1 model's transmission will not put an undo stress on the HR215 motor? Thanks for any help from the very knowledgeable posters on this site.

Because Robert works for Honda.
So there are things he can say on a public open forum and things he cant say because people will think he is making factory sanctioned comments.
Also he does not post very often on this forum.
Posting a PM will cause him to get an email message.
many times he ends up answering on line in any case.

got around to looking in on this( house flooded) and bought a nice HR215 engine with clutch off ebay. mounted on deck and fired right up. had to replace clutch cable and disk also. only problem still having is transmission as it will not shift out of either 2nd or 3rd gear. any suggestions from fine posters on transmission cable adjustments or problem fixes short of transmission replacement? even replacing cable looks like it may be pretty tough for me to get access or is there a trick? if not, mower is still doable and can live with it.

HR215 and HR215 K1SXA use same engine GXV140 with shaft stick out to trans .Just different engine cover .Yes it will work
