I have a Gravely 152 xdx with a Kawasaki 23 hp engine. The wiring harness caught fire and melted it. We replace the harness. Cut the yard twice. On the third time the harness caught fire again. The mower will run but the blades will not engage. Could this be a voltage regulator problem.

The first time it was the whole harness, the second time it was the wires coming out of the harness going to the blade relay.

I hope you changed all the relays when the wiring harness burned up. If you did then it is time to ohm out your PTO. Even if you did not I would still check the PTO. I would also check your key switch and make sure it is working correctly.

Yes when you buy the harness all new relays come with it. I will ohm out the PTO and see what happens
