What Size Deck?

Hi Guys, I just picked up a 2011 LT2000 247.288851. w/ double bagger and 21hp engine. They PO cut the old belt off and I need to order a new belt and I think spindles as well since they are noisy when I spin the blades. Haven't check to see if they are greasable yet.

ANYWAY, I'm trying to identify what size the deck is. PO said its a 42". I think it looks like a 42" but I cant find anything that says 42" and everything I see online says its a 46". So I'm very confused. Any help would be appreciated.

Exactly measure the deck, blade tip to blade tip.
If it has 2 blades then it is most likely a 42.
usually 44 or bigger is a 3 blade deck.
measure each blade the overlap is generally around 1/2" so take 1 or 1.5" of the blades added together.

Yes, I figured it out and got the right belt. Works like a charm. The blades are HUGE! Lol. Didn't know they made 2 blade 46" That's why I was so confused. Thanks for all the help and responses!

I have the same mower, I’m looking for a bagger system. Do you happen to know the model number for your bagger system or have pics of the bracket that attaches to the mower?
