All I got to say is this: I've been to "The Great White North", lots of times, and 'Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder'....

Now I'm not disparaging Canadian women as a whole, they indeed have some beauties, but I met an old lady trapper up there once called "Bear Bait Betty" and I ain't fully recovered from that experience yet!

I remember some of the first batch of mowers brought in for repairs and tune-ups in the late Winter and early Spring would be coated in wild onions. The wild onions would cause my skin to break-out and the smell left a bad taste in your mouth.

I don't know what part of Canada you are from, but when the US and Canadian dollars are more or less on par, lots of Frenchmen from Quebec come down to Old Orchard Beach in Maine in the summer and they wear "Speedo" bathing suits!! And believe me, when you've reached a certain age in life, or if you have a beer gut that makes you look 9 months pregnant, you are NOT a pretty sight in a Speedo!! Not at all!!!

I give them credit for feeling comfortable in their own skin, but holy mackerel!!

going to deny knowing you besides....... Speedo's are for young athletic BOYS....Men wear something like basketball shorts ...

LAWNBOY - Oh geez, now I owe you an apology! I LOVE Quebec and have visited many times and I love the people there too! But the Speedo's?? Not so much..

Forgive me, I was just making a joke.... I don't want to create an International Incident. (I already got arrested for that in Japan once, but that's another l-o-n-g and sordid story! And a situation I certainly don't wish to repeat!)

Although I realize this is more information than you need (or want!), but I have to say that in my case anyway, I do not need mid-calf shorts to cover up anything except my knees! Sad, I know, but true none-the-less...

Now when I was younger . . . . Ha!!
