The electric clutch (5022334 or 525944) has two wires. One wire broke off flush at the clutch. Is there a fix for this?

I have cut the plastic where the wire goes into the clutch. And connect the wire back.

There is a you tube video from "Taryl Fixes All" showing a repair by driving a screw into the base where the wire broke off, soldering the wire to that then potting the whole lot up for strength.
Look it up, should work.
