My engine quits when i pull switch to engage mower. Is there a way to bypass this problem??

First check connections at seat switch, backside of PTO switch & plug connection at clutch. You may just need to adjust air gap at PTO clutch in manual above if connections are good & tight.

If you lift off the seat, does it die, before you try and engage the blades?

Can you get off the mower with it running without locking on the brake?
