Mower deck MTD Yard Machines mower deck question

Hello, i just had to replace the deck belt on my 42 inch riding mower. after 2 weeks of waitin for the belt i now cant remember where the spring on the PTO cable connects. also there is a small rod that is connected to the roller on the left. i cant figure out where this connects either. Really hoping someone could give me some guidance on this one.
