Engine stutters when I move mower

Yardman 1996 lawn tractor Kohler MV20S engine. Wasn't running smoothly, it would idle up and down. I new it was carb. related. Cleaned carb. Idles fantastic now until I move or shake the tractor, then it stutters until I stop moving. Now what?
 
Since your mower is 20 years old I would start by removing blower housing, top cover of engine, & clean by hand, No liquids or water, all nooks & crannies, engine needs to be able to breathe & will run cooler. I use a shop vac, small nylon brushes, shop rags, pieces of coat hanger wire for tight spaces etc. This would be a good time to check engine coils with meter, adjust valves with engine cold per specs., replace spark plugs, air filter, engine oil & filter, lubricate all linkages.
 
Also check the fuel tank for water.
A little layer of water in the bottom of the tank will also do this
As will the cut out wire if it has a bad spot in the insulation that can short out on the mower.
